The other day Miha made me crave liver, so I got to work, but to go out as usual, something else came out.

  • 400 gr chicken liver
  • 400 gr smoked chop [from home]
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • paprika
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 small yellow pepper
  • pepper
  • 400 gr potatoes
  • 4 baked and marinated donuts [see recipe for grandma]
  • salt
  • 50 gr butter
  • 50 ml oil
  • green parsley

Servings: 4

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Valentine's day chicken liver:

# I washed and cleaned the liver of skins.

# the smoked chop is cut into narrow strips and fried in butter + oil.

# add, the liver and the pepper cut into strips + the garlic cut into slices.

# put a cup of water and let it simmer until the water drops from them.

# I peeled the potatoes separately, cut them into small cubes and boiled them in salted water. I soaked the marinated donuts with potatoes and served as a garnish.

# at the end I sprinkled green parsley and pepper on the dish


Liver in spicy tomato sauce

A spice-enriched version of the recipe given by Irina, and that's only because I have a pretentious one in the house that can't stand the taste of liver and I have to hide it with different flavors. I'll tell you in the afternoon if they are good and cold, last night I served them warm with wholemeal pasta. You can read Irina's simple version here.


Valentine's Day Chicken Liver - Recipes

Ingredient:
- a packet of fresh chicken liver
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- salt pepper
-dried oregano
-dried thyme
- white wine (optional)
- dried hot peppers (optional)

Elegantly place each roll of chicken liver over the salad and serve.
