I haven't eaten ABRAMIS BRAMA for a long time, in other words - bream. I declare with my hand on my heart that it has the sweetest and tastiest meat among freshwater fish. On this occasion, I raise it in the top of my preferences. Our sea bream is a good sister, related to the famous sea bream.

  • 1.5 kg of bream [half]
  • 2 tablespoons Greek mix for fish [rosemary, oregano, white pepper, chili flakes]
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil flavored with oregano flowers
  • 1 tablespoon garlic flakes
  • salt
  • oil [spray]
  • 500 gr green beans [frozen]
  • 300 gr cherry tomatoes with basil, garlic and hot pepper [own preserve]
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • leek leaves, red peppers

Servings: 2

Preparation time: less than 120 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Green bean plate:


  1. Wash the bream and let it drain or dab with a napkin then cut it with a sharp knife.

  2. Mix salt, herbs and garlic flakes.

  3. With this mixture, massage the fish and let it cool for at least an hour.

  4. Place the bream in a tray. Spray with oil on both sides.

  5. Put the tray in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until the bream starts to brown. Baking time depends on the oven.

  6. Meanwhile, lightly sauté the green beans, salt and olive oil. Mix with cherry tomatoes.

  7. At the end, put the green beans next to the fish in the pan and bake for another 5 minutes. For the appearance, the oil is easily sprayed.

  8. Serve green beans with greens decorated with greens. I had green leeks on hand. For the color I sprinkled cubes of red pepper.

The plate has many thin bones. If it is smaller and you fry it, cut it obliquely stronger. The small bones will be fried and can be consumed as such.

I gently unwrapped the bream and the spinal cord is removed with the afferent bones in a single movement.
